It's been seven long months since Hurricane Harvey ripped our home apart. Without insurance and doing it on our own, it takes a lot of time before real noticeable change takes place. As an attempt to return to normalcy, this month was spent on more aesthetic items... starting with flowers in the yard!

Six months ago today, the flood waters receded and we walked in to see the devastation Hurricane Harvey left behind... we've come a long way in six months, but not nearly as far as I thought we'd be when this jouurney first began!
