Though not my first time arriving to Gatwick by airplane, it must have been the first time in a window seat. In the past, I never noticed how green the landscape was. Our plan is three quick nights in London before boarding Anthem of the Seas.

With Corey heading back to the USA, it was time to do some exploration on my own. Thankfully, Malaga is a comfortable place for me. Being alone there did not worry me a bit!
We slept in… 2:30am was a little late for us to be out! But once we got going, we had a great day!
Venturing slightly outside of Malaga city limits, we visited Corey’s friends who moved from Incline Village to Spain. Check out this little town we enjoyed!
What a fantastic time of year to visit Malaga! The Jacaranda is in full bloom! Everywhere we look… stunning, flowering trees! Click to see what we’ve been up to in this quaint Spanish town…
Walking around Barcelona by myself was a little strange. Being the type of person who needs confirmation of the beauty… “Look! isn’t that amazing???”… it’s odd not to have someone to turn to while touring. It’s good practice for Malaga!
First view… we have arrived at the port of Barcelona! Not quite ready to get out of bed to start the day, I snapped this photo with covers pulled up from my cozy bed. Sad to leave the ship, but thankful to have more adventures in the days ahead!
Getting off the ship was unusually simple today. Arriving earlier than expected, we enjoyed our morning coffee and headed to shore. We took the complimentary shuttle through the industrial port area and out to the street. It was a short but fun day in Valencia!
With all the talk of Aurora Borealis, I figured it would be nice to share the Voyager of the Seas version. We were in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. These stunning colors greeted us… okay, maybe not but sometimes, when sailing, it helps to have a little imagination! Click to see what we didn’t do today!
